Classes and Certifications

Our classes and certifications are meticulously designed to support maritime and confined space workers in achieving the highest standards of safety and compliance. Through expert-led training and practical applications, we equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary for safe operations in the marine industry.

Each course is delivered by experienced professionals with deep industry knowledge, ensuring that participants receive the most current and relevant information.

  • Comprehensive training programs covering marine chemist inspections, gas-free certifications, hot work approvals, confined space entry and more.
     

  • Training courses designed to meet US Navy and industry standards and regulatory requirements.

24 Hour Initial Class

This in-person 24-hour class provides foundational knowledge and skills needed to perform as a Shipyard Competent Person. Participants learn how to recognize, evaluate, and control hazards. The course includes relevant materials for OSHA, US Navy, US Coast Guard, and NFPA Shipyard Competent Person training requirements.

Our classroom is located at LionShare Cowork inside of the Harbour Village shopping center with crunch fitness and The Fresh Market. We are just a short drive from Naval Station Mayport.

8 Hour Refresher Class

Designed for current Shipyard Competent Persons, this 8-hour refresher course updates participants on the latest safety protocols, regulations, and best practices. It reinforces the critical responsibilities of maintaining a safe working environment in shipyards.
